Onto the 4th Date

I have another date with a lady I met on match.com.  This is the fourth date and I want to do something different, unfortunately Wednesday in the 'burbs...hard to find anything fun or unique to do.  Probably be dinner, drinks and maybe set her up for a game of pool...get the competition thing going.

Seeing where things lead

Just when I thought these online dating sites were a bunch of crap, I meet someone who I feel like I have so much in common with.  We have been out on a couple of great dates.  I will just have to see where this leads.

The Sex Talk

Ok, well now after a few dates with a lady I am really interested in, she let me know that she has rules when it comes to physical relationships. Essentially no sex until you are in a committed relationship. Essentially she wants to wait until we have dated 90 days and then we will determine if we are in a serious relationship. I respect her wishes and I would like to see where things lead, but this is going to be difficult.

She told me about all the stupid things other guys have said or the ways they have tried to manipulate things, so I can understand her apprehension about getting physical early. We even talked about the 3rd date rule (or 5th date rule if you are conservative). I thought about it and essentially most women give up within the first 5 dates. That is what got me into trouble in my last relationship.

For now I am going to abide by the rules and see what happens.

Good Dates and Friendship

I have had a couple of good dates with one lady I met on Match.com.  There is definitely some interest there and I think she is interested in me.  Tonight was date number 3.  Overall we have really just sat and talked over dinner, so I am trying to think of something we can do to stir the creative or competitive juices.  

On the other hand one lady that I really only see as a friend at this point wants more from me I think.  I probably led her on a little more than I should have.  In fact I know I did.  I have to come up with a way to essentially say your a friend without upsetting her.
